CTMH's Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for September

Welcome to the Close to My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop for September - featuring the totally fun stamp set "Thriller"!

Along this month's Stamp of the Month hop you'll find dozens of fabulous creations using this stamp set - all brought to you by a very talented group of CTMH Consultants! If you've come here from Debra's Blog, you are on the right path. If this is your first stop on the hop, that will work too (just keep hopping till you get back here again)!

To continue along the hop, just follow the link at the end of each post to go to the next site. We hope that following the hop will give you lots of inspiration and ideas for using your "Thriller" stamp set, as well as the many other great CTMH products you'll see in each post.

My creation for you today is a 6x6 Halloween card.  I love the look of the 'Puddle Pad' technique - but didn't have the reinkers in the colors I wanted to use.  So instead - I simply sponged the ink from my ink pads onto my stamp to give the stamped image the multi-colored look that I was going for!   The starting point for my card was the sketch challenge #43 at Sketch & Stash.  (As this September SOTM is a brand new stamp in my stash - this also meets the 'stash' part of the challenge!)
Materials Used (all Close to My Heart):
September Stamp of the Month - Thriller
You Rock Level 2 Paper Pack
Holiday Craft Buttons
White Embroidery Floss
Ink: Smokey Plum, Goldrush & Olive
Cardstock: White Daisy, Goldrush, Smokey Plum

The THRILLER stamp set is available from your CTMH Consultant from September 1st - 30th! You can earn this stamp set at a discount or FREE with every CTMH order in the month of September!

Thanks for stopping in! To continue on the hop - visit the amazingly talented Annette Green to see what she has created for you!

  3. The variety of colors add interest to the stamped image. It also looks glittery - did you add glitter to the eye patch?
